Over 10 days, Imagine Fantastic Film Festival offers the latest and best in science fiction, fantasy, horror and related genres.
We are back for this 41st (!) edition with a program to be proud of. It’s our forth year in the FilmHallen and LAB111. Our Expanded programme has moved to Hal West for the first time.
In addition to feature films and short films, the 2025 programme consists of four pillars: our annual theme program (the Lovecraft-inspired A Tentacular Touch), our country focus Myths of the World (Reversing the Gaze, about how Indigenous genre filmmakers are flipping the narravitve), Imagine Expanded (threshold-crossing experiences in Rites of Passage) and Imagine Industry.
