Code of Conduct

Our Fantastic Film Fest may include scary movies, macabre exhibitions, and extreme arts

But! The way we treat each other differs from the fantastic settings of our films. We are committed to providing an environment that is as welcoming and accessible as possible, and inclusive for all festival guests and attendees, team members and volunteers. Imagine Fantastic Film Festival does not tolerate harassment or harmful behaviour in any form.

This Code of Conduct applies to everyone working at and visiting the venues, as well as everyone in networking events, special screenings, or social media channels. 

We do not tolerate harassment of any kind, including: 
  • Intimidation or threats 
  • Pernicious heckling or disruption during discussions 
  • Disrespectful or Inappropriate outbursts during film screenings 

By attending the Imagine Fantastic Film Festival, you agree to abide by our set of principles to tackle and prevent bullying, harassment and racism in the screen industries. 

Harassment can include, but is not limited to: 
  • Hurtful or insulting language 
  • Physical assault of any type 
  • Inappropriate physical contact 
  • Unwanted sexual attention 
  • Unwanted photography or video recording 
  • Bullying or stalking 
This is especially true when targeting: 
  • Race or ethnicity 
  • National origin 
  • Gender identity or presentation 
  • Sex or sexual orientation 
  • Age 
  • Disability, medical condition or pregnancy 
  • Religion 
  • Citizenship status 
When this behaviour does occur, please reach out to any of the Festival Staff, including volunteers.

The volunteers can help you identify someone to talk to. Any conversations will be kept completely confidential. The Imagine Staff and/or Volunteers might be brought in to alleviate any threatening situations.
