And then, all of a sudden, it was Thursday! There’s already a full, fun week at Imagine behind us, but we’re not going home yet. The next four days are still jam-packed with new films (such as Anymart, Victorian Psycho and Crocodile), classics (such as Videodrome, Pan’s Labyrinth en Macario), VR (all of The New Flesh) and post-screening discussions, like with the director of Welsh sci-fi Out There (also our closing film), the maker of highrise horror No Way Down, and a discussion on ethical hacking after the final screening of PH1SHed_.

Go get your tickets for magical-realist audience hit Risa and the Wind Phone this weekend, and for bio horror Species tomorrow, which has also been rated highly. If you’re in the mood for short and weird, come explore the dark corners of cinema with us tonight at the hysterical Duke Mitchell Film Party. Or catch up on your shorts during the two shorts compilations later in the week. And of course, that’s far from all.
The Best of Imagine – Sunday 8 November
Short on time? This Sunday, on the final festival day, get your fill during The Best of Imagine at LAB111. As per tradition we’ll be showing Imagine 2026’s cream of the crop: Five More Minutes, Best of Shorts, Adult Supervision, No Rest for the Wicked, Ghost in the Cell and Drag. Time loops, scary teens, supernatural love, crazy ghosts and wonderfully painful slapstick, it’s all you need. Grab ’em all or just a few. Tickets can be booked here.
After the festival we’re taking the same list of films plus classic Ghost in the Shell on tour throughout the Netherlands, to Utrecht, Eindhoven, Enschede and Groningen. Go to our On Tour page for more information.
