Decided what you want to see at Imagine this year? We hope so, because ticket sales for the festival have started today! You can find everything you need to know on our tickets & locations page, or go straight to the schedule and take your pick. Imagine will take place from October 30th to November 9th.
We hope you can handle a bit of selection stress, because the 2025 programme is one for the books. From J-horror (Dollhouse, Kinki, Mag Mag) to slimy cult classics (The Alien Factor, Urotsukidoji) and from weird comedies (Nirvanna The Band The Show The Movie, Fuck My Son!) to groundbreaking interactive cinema and VR (The Run, ROAMance). And there’s inspiring guests, special screenings, and themed programmes as well.
On the website, you’ll find a list of this year’s highlights, including a selection of unique genre films from Indigenous filmmakers in our programme Reversing the Gaze. Use the filters in the schedule to find something to your liking.
How can I get tickets for the festival?
Tickets can be bought or reserved starting today via our website. During the festival, tickets will also be sold at the ticket counters in FilmHallen and LAB111. Tickets for Imagine Expanded: Rites of Passage (our interactive and VR programme) are available for purchase online and at FilmHallen.
Film screenings and specials start from €13,50, the VR experiences start from €9. If you’re a student or have a Stadspas or CJP card, you’ll get a discount. A Cineville membership will get you into almost everything at Imagine for free – only the film concert has a surcharge. In addition to the paid section, there are also free programmes: the comics talk show Bloeddorst #2 and the exhibitions at LAB111.
