Imagine Film Festival is looking for enthusiastic students or recent graduates who want to help organise the most enjoyable film festival in Amsterdam for the upcoming edition in October!
We are looking for a
PRODUCTION & FILM INTERN
(The internship can also be carried out as a work placement.)
For almost forty years, Imagine has been the leading festival for fantasy films in the Netherlands. Over the years, it has grown from a modest horror party into a broad and high-quality festival. In addition to the best films in the genres of fantasy, science fiction, horror, anime, martial arts and cult, Imagine offers thematic programmes with masterclasses, talk shows, lectures and workshops. There is also a programme for professionals. With Imagine Expanded, we explore VR, gaming and related art.
The upcoming festival will take place from 30 October to 9 November at De FilmHallen and LAB111 in Amsterdam.
As an intern, you will support the production manager and take on various production tasks. This includes the film database, working with guests, receiving visitors and the countless other things that come with a festival.
Are you a real jack-of-all-trades who enjoys coordinating and inspiring others? Do you like tackling something different every day? Then we would love to have you for this role!
Are you available at least four days a week from the third week of August until the end of November or even January? Then we are looking for you!
We are looking for someone who:
· Is available for at least four days a week from the third week of August until the end of November. The exact dates are negotiable.
· Has a passion for film.
· Is enthusiastic, creative and motivated.
· Is enrolled in or has completed an MBO4, HBO or university programme.
· Has strong communication skills, both verbal and written
· Has a sense of responsibility and takes initiative
· Is proficient in English, both written and spoken
· Works accurately and in an organised manner
· Has a good knowledge of Microsoft Office
