We’re kicking off at 10 p.m. sharp at OT301 (address: Overtoom 301, a mere five-minute walk from LAB111) with the ever-popular Halloween Drag Karaoke, hosted by the sultry-voiced drag king Hunky Dory. One of Amsterdam’s most notorious kings, an irresistibly charismatic Scottish lad who knows all there is to know about sensuality and comedy.
Don’t forget to dress to impress! At the stroke of midnight the most marvellous monster will receive the Best Costume award. Nearing witching hour, we’ll be dancing the night away (until 3 a.m.) to a dedicated Halloween set by our favourite Imagine DJs Mr & Mevr Koot. Get ready for a poisonous, eclectic cocktail that takes you from the sixties to the present: deadly disco, eyeball electronica, ghost dance, spooky indie, werewolf wave, vampire (post)punk, witchy global grooves, pumpkin exotica, and all the zombie and creature sounds in between. Let your bones tremble all night long, all the way to the underworld.
