Twenty-something Matthew leads a perfectly ordinary life until one day popstar Oliver unexpectedly walks into the shop where he works. Matthew immediately grabs his fifteen minutes of fame and manages to become part of the superstar’s entourage. From that moment on, he goes to extremes to be seen by Oliver.

A cleverly written, tightly directed and incredibly suspenseful psychological thriller about fame, fandom and all-consuming ambition. Thanks in part to a cool soundtrack courtesy of producer Kenny Beats, Russell paints a credible portrait of a hedonistic popstar striving for ‘authenticity’ and his little gang of sycophants. Théodore Pellerin portrays Matthew as a sinister, calculating antihero, willing to throw anyone and anything under the bus in pursuit of his dreams.
