Enter the fevered mind of a man whose simple apartment has become his whole universe.

A man lives in solitude within the walls of his apartment, his world reduced to obsessive routines and the anticipation of the doorbell ringing. His grocery delivery becomes a lifeline — the sole tether to an outside world he no longer inhabits. This immersive journey explores the boundaries of consciousness through VR's boundless medium.

Korstmos (lichen) is a visceral journey through mental isolation that feels like stroking a tender exposed nerve. Tibor de Jong and Doris Konings, aka Collective Nemo Vos, transform the familiar frame of an apartment into a liminal space where reality dissolves and reconstructs. With Spinvis's hypnotic soundscape guiding the descent, you’ll cross into one man's disturbed consciousness overdosed on bad coffee and misinformation. This exploration of framing in VR becomes a rite of passage in itself: we enter through the headset's threshold and navigate the fevered in-between of a fragmented mind. Upon your return, you’ll have witnessed the boundaries that confine and define who we are.
