The greatest horror film of all time returns to the cinema for a special birthday screening!

Chris MacNeill is worried: her 12-year-old daughter Regan has been acting odd - speaking in tongues, disturbing behaviour - but doctors cannot find anything wrong. Local priest Damien thinks the girl may be possessed by The Devil and turns to the Vatican for permission to perform an exorcism.

What’s there to say about Willam Friedkin’s masterpiece that hasn’t been said already? Hailed by some as the ultimate cinematic horror about faith and by others as a perverse discourse, The Exorcist has been causing havoc since its debut way back in 1973 and shows no signs of slowing down. What we can say is Friedkin’s assured direction coupled with an incredible cast, creates a film that is high on tension, atmosphere and frights, and has now become the byword for any possession film that may get released. Dim the lights and let your heartbeat faster - The Exorcist is back.
