A Steven Soderbergh produced perverted alchemical nightmare of self-improvement gone wrong from Eddie Alcazar.

Building on his father’s legacy, Jaxxon Pierce finds a formula for an immortality serum, which turns the known reality into a barren land of atomized, able-bodied individuals focused solely on their own pleasures. When two uncannily similar invaders break into his house, he is confronted with the monstrosities he unleashed.

Imagine that drive, fuelled by the promise of carving out an agile and imperishable body, that makes you pump iron at the gym, distilled and repackaged as the most potent steroid known to man. A serum of divinity, a philosopher’s stone turning degradable flesh into the undying object of desire. Divinity is Alcazar’s alchemical attempt at extracting and condensing the narcissistic essence permeating our time and age, and turning it into a monstrous spectacle of lust, ego, and violence. Fetishizing the image, as much as the bodies, the movie reveals the dark underbelly of superficial desires informing our image-obsessed culture.
