    This year Imagine turns the spotlight on a profession that is all too often overlooked: the storyboard artist. British Jim Cornish (1967) is one of those unsung heroes, with a filmography that without exaggeration can be called awe-inspiring. The films that Cornish has worked on since the mid-nineties include Event Horizon, The Descent and the last four Harry Potter films. And, to stay with this year’s superhero theme at Imagine, he also did the storyboards for Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and more recently for X-Men: First Class.

    From Tuesday, April 17, until Saturday, April 28, movie lovers can once again indulge in the best, weirdest and most adventurous that the fantasy, horror, science-fiction, animation and thriller genres currently have to offer. And all of it in an environment that’s familiar by now: Filmtheater Kriterion, which is not only perfect for watching films, but also for discussing them afterwards in a cosy café atmosphere.     - The accepted format to review material is DVD, screeners will not be returned.

    - The short film section of the programme is exclusively for European Fantastic Shorts.

    - Accepted formats for screening purposes are: DCP (preferred), 35mm or HD cam. There is no
    submission fee.
